limitless possibilities...

A season of work exploring alternative views and experiences

Earlier this year, we celebrated the success of a bid from the Economic and Social Research Council, to develop a ground-breaking research study by Dr Ruth Bartlett about dementia activism into a touring exhibition. This exhibition explores how we can use art to mediate change. It is a privilege and a pleasure to work with such a great team of people and we look forward to showing you the results. NO LIMITS Re-imagining Life with Dementia hopes to capture some of the powerful and inspirational experiences of men and women with dementia and allows us to question our assumptions about what it's like to live with this condition.

The Tracker Chronicles, an exhibition which spans Richmond Atrium and Gallery II, looks behind the camera and beyond, to question the truthfulness of the optical machine. The installation playfully asks the questions: Whose truth? For whose purpose? To what end? This is Gallery II's contribution to an exciting new festival of photography, Ways of Looking, which comes to Bradford in October and is inspired by the theme EVIDENCE.

From November, visitors to Richmond Atrium will encounter the heart of Bradford and the ordinary people who live here through a series of powerful photographic portraits. Bradford Raw captures an essence of the cultural diversity of Bradford's inner city areas. These portraits are at once confronting and intimate and ask the viewer to stop and consider their own observations.

Gallery II opens its doors in November to an abundance of possible adventures. We will be showing a selection of work made in response to the idea of memory and place, both real and imagined. As part of a whole series of inter-related happenings, we will be lifting the lid on Bradford's underground scene and playing out with a host of people, with loads of opportunities to make work and make friends.
