Employer Engagement Event 20th June 2011
20 June 2011
Event Papers - University of Bradford Escalate Employer Engagement Programme Dissemination Event:
Challenging Mindsets, Changing Minds: Making Higher Education Work for Employers
The Escalate Employer Engagement Programme was launched in 2008 with a three-year remit built upon the University's core value of 'making knowledge work'. Its aim has been to embed employer engagement throughout the institution, and refocus its relationship with employers onto the higher level skills and continuing professional development needs of the future workforce.
On 20th June 2011 the end of this successful programme was celebrated and its achievements disseminated through a one-day event which aimed to reflect the journey and the outcomes of the Escalate Programme in responding the higher level skills and workforce development needs of employers (programme below). There was input from national and regional players as well as those involved in the programme, and emphasis placed on the potential future development opportunities which exist, especially within the changing economic landscape.
