Work Based Learning

Working with employers, we are able to design, develop, accredit and deliver a variety of learning and development programmes, specifically tailored to meet the needs of an organisation or sector.

This might comprise a full foundation, honours or masters degree, a smaller award such as a diploma or certificate or it could be a much shorter course designed to meet a very specific and immediate requirement.

Such programmes are flexibly designed to fit in with the demands of work, often incorporating a variety of learning methods, or 'blended' learning.  Where appropriate programmes will incorporate elements of work-based and e-learning, including work based projects and assessment.  Any taught sessions or one to one tutoring can take place at the University (such as in the Escalate Centre), at the employers' own premises or at some other venue of choice.
