Accreditation of In-Company Training

Some organisations have high quality and well developed internal training and staff development programmes, which meet specific and immediate requirements.

However, staff will sometimes choose external learning simply because they carry accreditation and are recognised as qualifications.  For the organisation accreditation provides a mechanism for the external assurance of quality and standards and for calibrating learning against well recognised benchmarks.  It has the additional advantage of providing a currency that individuals can take forward or transfer to future learning programmes or institutions and of facilitating longer and more substantial development.

Escalate can work with employers to accredit their existing programmes of learning.  By assessing both the volume and level of learning, which would normally involve some form of assessment, an amount of academic 'credit' aligned to the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) can be attached to a training course or learning programme.
