Develop and Accredit Learning

Escalate aims to facilitate employer-responsive learning that specifically meets the needs of an organisation or sector.  So, while the University has a range of existing courses on offer, Escalate does not seek to promote 'off the shelf' courses or awards.  Instead we will work with employers and University schools to develop flexible and tailored learning that may or may not lead to a qualification.

Our approach is to build sustainable partnerships with like-minded 'learning organisations' that respect and value each others' strengths and perspectives.  Through these partnerships we will design, deliver and modify as appropriate learning that brings direct organisational benefits.

This learning can be a full foundation, honours or masters degree, smaller awards such as diplomas or certificates or short courses to meet specific needs.  It could comprise work-based learning, e-learning or more traditional taught sessions and could be delivered at the University (such as in the Escalate Centre), at the employers' premises or another suitable venue.
