The role of the Associate Dean Employer Engagement is:
- Provide strategic leadership in relation to employer engagement within the school.
- Lead the School in building its relationships with business.
- Identifying and developing opportunities for accredited employer-responsive learning.
- Take responsibility for programme and co-funded student number planning.
- Support and guide School staff in the design of flexible and responsive curricular for work-based learning.
- Support colleagues in relation to the quality assurance processes required for accredited provision.
- Work with Escalate to implement and develop approaches to skills needs analyses, APEL, accreditation of in-company training and the shell award framework.
- Work with Escalate to implement and further develop models for costing and pricing, employer contributions, and other systems and processes intended to streamline employer engagement activity.
- Lead and co-ordinate the development of case studies and other means of disseminating employer engagement activity.
