Programme design and development / review workshops

Four workshops support Phase 2 of the design and development of new programmes, periodic review, or major revisions. The workshops provide the Programme Development Team with space away from the day to day working environment in which they can discuss, plan, develop and go some way towards writing sections of the documents required for approval events. The workshops are an integral part of the design process for a specific programme so previous engagement in relation to any another programme is not a valid reason for non-engagement.

To book the workshops please email c.higgison@bradford.ac.uk in the first instance.

Who needs to attend?

  • Academic Quality Officer.
  • The programme development team.
  • Relevant colleagues from professional services not already included in the programme development team.
  • It is desirable to include a broad section of the programme teaching team.
  • It is desirable for a broad range of students from the programme to participate in the workshop, in addition to the student rep(s) on the programme development team.
  • It is desirable to involve relevant stakeholders including employers, service users etc, especially where this is an expectation of a professional, statutory or regulatory body.
