Events and Partnerships

The University of Bradford strives to be an active and engaged partner contributing to the success of the city and wider region. The Events and Partnerships team provide a range of opportunities to enable this engagement to happen through events, programmes and meaningful partnership relationships with different stakeholders across the region. The University is particularly keen to connect with business and community based organisations that share similar values and that could lead to mutual benefits and activities that add value to both parties.

A broad range of engagement activities, in the form of events, are led by the Events and Partnerships Team. They include:

  • Public lectures
  • Themed specialist events
  • High profile conferences
  • Business networking events
  • University roadshows
  • Graduation Ceremonies

The Events and Partnerships team is currently working toward two key landmark events, the first is the British Science Festival in September 2015 in partnership with the British Science Association, and the second is the University’s 50th Anniversary marking the celebration in Bradford, nationally and internationally.
