Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 for Staff

PCs in student clusters and GTA (general teaching areas) are now running Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 software.

For staff, PCs supported by Learner Support Services will begin to be upgraded to run Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 from early 2012. This will involve staff from the IT Services department visiting your area and upgrading the software on your PC. Training on the use of this software will be provided to you at the same time as the upgrade to your PC is taking place.

In order to arrange for this to happen, IT Services staff will approach IT representatives within individual Schools and Departments to discuss a timeframe for the upgrades to take place.

Please note: do not attempt to upgrade the software yourself - this must be done by IT Services staff.

In the meantime, please see
www.bradford.ac.uk/lss/it-services/changes/staff.php for videos, updates and FAQs as we get them.

If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please contact ictservicedesk@bradford.ac.uk.
