Effective Web Site Design

Through group work and discussion, this course explores the basic principles of effective Web page design. You will explore how various Web sites are applying these principles and develop a more critical eye for what makes a "user friendly" Web site.
Please note that the course does NOT cover "hands on" Web page production.

In order to upgrade the campus diary management system, Meeting Maker, to a new version the system will be unavailable from 8am on Saturday 10th January until 9pm on Sunday, 11th January 2004.
We would also advise users to print a copy of their diaries for the following week as a precautionary measure.
Upgraded client software will be delivered automatically through the ZEN Application Explorer. If your department does not use ZEN contact your departmental IT staff, who will be provided with the software by the Computer Centre.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this essential work may cause.
