UCAN staff would like to extend their sincere thanks to all staff and students that made donations and volunteered their time to Cares@Christmas 2003.
The beneficiary organisation - Horton Housing Association - were extremely grateful and explained that their Christmas celebrations were wonderful.
Your donations and effort made Christmas for a number of their service users. You provided over 80 gift wrapped food hampers and over 80 goody bags. It was a truly rewarding experience in which to be involved.
There will be an article in News and Views (February 2004 edition).
Once again, thank you for all of your effort in making this event a genuine success.
Kindest regards, Caroline.

Landscape and Figures
Paintings by Jim Smith & Paul Copsey
The environment features prominently in the work of Jim Smith and Paul Copsey
In Jim's work it is landscapes and dreamscapes - sometimes brooding, often melancholic, often the Bradford landscape where he grew up. In Paul's it is relationship of individuals to their environment, delving into their psychological states and social situations.
