The deadline for nominations for the Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Teaching will close on Tuesday 30th October. Staff Refectory a la Carte menu and wine list

The staff refectory has a new a la carte menu featuring freshly prepared meals such as spinach and watercress soup, classic Caesar salad, village Greek salad, pan fried rack of lamb, vegetarian saffron scented tagliatelle, plus more mouth-watering dishes. Prices range from £2 or £3 for sweets and starters to £4 for salads and around £6 for main dishes. Click here for the full menu - pdf file.

They also have a new wine list to accompany this menu. You can taste the three red wines or the three white wines for only £2 (equivalent to 1.5 glasses). Click here for full details - pdf file.

For a quicker lunch service you are encouraged to pre order and tables may be reserved for lunch between 12 noon and 1.30pm.

Music Events

Tashbain will be performing in the Richmond Foyer on Monday 29th October from 12.30pm. A mix of folk music from around the world, this band from Sheffield blend a wild range of stunning music: Klezmer music, Irish, English, Greek and Jewish folk.

Chinook Clarinet Quartet perform as part of the Music Centre's Music for Lunch series on Wednesday 31st 1.05pm - 1.50pm at the Alhambra Studio on Great Horton Road. The performance includes a world premiere, jazz arrangements, and a piece written by the Fellow in Music Jim Pywell

Both events are free - just turn up and enjoy!
