Exhibitions at Gallery II

A Guide to Complete Happiness
Ceramic Reliefs by Martin Hearne

Till 11 April 2003

If you haven't already called in to Gallery II this week is your last chance to see this excellent exhibition of clay reliefs by Martin Hearne.

Martin Hearne's clay reliefs are constructed stories or tales taken from everyday life. They are told using a graphic shorthand of printed symbols and simple drawings with added three-dimensional elements that protrude from the surface. The added elements often include found ceramic objects like cheap figurines bought in charity shops, or are specifically made to fit the story.

Further exhibition details can be found at: http://www.bradford.ac.uk/gallery
