Competition Time.

Work has started on a new computerised information system which tracks students from the time they make initial enquiries, through admissions and enrolment and on to graduation and beyond.

One of the first things we need is a name for Bradford's new information system and so we would like to announce a University-wide competition to find that name. You don't have to be a potential user to take part - any staff member can enter.

The name can be an acronym, can be meaningful, or can just be a name that 'sounds right' - it's up to you. Two £20 book tokens are on offer, one for the proposer of the winning name and one from a lucky dip of the remaining entrants.

The competition will be judged by the Project Team - who will not know the entrant's name when he/she/they select(s) the winner. Please send your entries via email to the project manager, Philip Briggs, at p.j.briggs@bradford.ac.uk by 13th December.

The results will be announced on the project website on 18th December.

For further details about the new information system and the competition click here (adobe acrobat version of the document) and have a look at the project website at http://www.brad.ac.uk/admin/ssi/
