Introduction

The Hunter-Gather Research Laboratory is based in the Division of Archaeological, Geographical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Bradford under the direction of Dr Randolph Donahue. It is a centre for research projects involved in the study of hunter-gatherer mobility, subsistence and technology.

Specific current projects are the study of late-glacial hunter-gatherer subsistence strategies in Italy and mobility and subsistence during the Mesolithic in Northern Engaland

In support of these and other projects we have cultivated two analytical centers, the Lithic Microwear Research Laboratory and facilities and expertise for raw material sourcing.
