Modern Languages Reunion - Class of 1974
Friday 8th July - Sunday 10th July 2011
Following the success of a small gathering last October in Stratford-upon-Avon to mark the 40th anniversary of us all meeting, we are meeting again in July in the West Yorkshire town: Hebden Bridge. All 1974 Modern Languages graduates are invited.
Hebden Bridge is only a 20 min train ride from Bradford, so anyone who wants to go and see what has happened to the university since we were all there can do so. On the edge of town is the area known as Hardcastle Crags, an absolutely stunning place as anyone who has visited me here already can tell you and a mecca for walkers (mentioned in the Daily Telegraph). For those who like a bit more of a challenge, there is Stoodley Pike: for both proper walking boots are recommended.
There are some good restaurants, serving a range of food, including Turkish, Thai, Italian and CURRIES! There is also a highly recommended fish and chip restaurant in the centre. We have more than a dozen pubs, though I personally only go to 2 of them, because they are the only ones that are truly independent, and always have a good selection of real ale.
The proposed weekend is the last weekend of the Arts Festival for anyone who wants to see some performances. There are also canal boat trips for anyone who wants to see the scenery from a different perspective.

Pharmacy Reunion - Class of 1991

The pharmacy graduating class of 1991 (1987 entry) are organising a 20-year reunion on Saturday 16th July 2011. We¿d love you to come along to meet old friends or send a message if you can¿t make it. The graduates plan to have lunch, followed by a tour of the campus and School of Pharmacy, then in the evening a social event is being arranged.

School of Management - Class of 2001
Friday 16th - Saturday 17th September 2011
The School of Management alumni office are working with alumnus Andy Wolrich and alumna Camerlia Lazar to organise a 10 year reunion for the class of 2001. The event will take place at the School of Management and details are still being finalised. Tours of the school, lectures and curry will feature as part of the event which is open to all post graduates who graduated in 2001. Email alumni.mgt@bradford.ac.uk for more information.

Following two previous very enjoyable reunions in 2006 and 2008 there will be a repeat event in 2012 down South. A very reasonable accomodation deal has been negotiated to encourage attendance. Lecturers, lecteurs, and partners all very welcome.
