Youngsters from across the
region experienced a free taste of University life recently at the Higher
Education Summer School Youngsters aged 16 took part in a range of fun
and practical workshops based on undergraduate courses.
Summer Schools Co-ordinator,
Anwar Ayub, said it was "a wonderful opportunity for those thinking about
entering Higher Education."
The Summer School was part
of the 'Excellence in Cities' Scheme.
