Local Pharmacists support
Pharmacy Undergraduates
The
Bradford branch of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain recently
awarded a prize for the best pharmacy student in a first-year dispensing
module.

Nighat Ellahi came
top of 170 first-year pharmacy students in the Extemporaneous Dispensing
module, following written and practical assessments.
The module assesses
application of number via pharmaceutical calculations, formulation theory
and practical laboratory and dispensing skills via the compounding of
medicines.
Chairman of the Bradford
branch, Simon Tweddell, presented the cheque for £75 to Nighat.
He said: "The branch
has very close links to the School of Pharmacy and is delighted to support
the School through the recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
Our congratulations go to Nighat and we wish her every success with the
remainder of her studies."
