Former University Vice-Chancellor's New RoleFormer University Vice-Chancellor Professor David Johns is one of the new fellowship consulting members of the World Innovation Fund. The Fund aims to bring leading international scientists together to help solve the earth's 'emerging problems'. Professor Johns, whose background is in Engineering, led the University from 1989 until 1998. He changed the University slogan to include the phrase 'Making Knowledge Work' and helped found Bradford Congress. He was also Deputy Chairman of Bradford City Challenge and a non-executive Director of Bradford Breakthrough. |
