Pauline said: "Age
is not a barrier to Higher Education and being in a small group of mature
students has been extremely important for mutual support and encouragement.
"Being staff members
of the University enabled us to fully use the excellent library and computer
facilities and the support from colleagues in the departments was paramount
to our success."
Their graduation ceremony
was a special occasion for both them and their families who supported
them through their studies.
