Green ElectricityThe University has signed a three-year fixed-price contract with Bizz for 100 per cent green electricity. The contract was signed following an Electricity Auction exercise, along with Leeds, Hull and Huddersfield. Director of Estates and Facilities Colin Fairweather said: "This experiment in energy procurement seems to have proved very successful - not only has this resulted in a more environmental form of electricity, it also means cost savings for the University." |
