Kids Go Radio Ga Ga

Search: For:

School children will be making waves at the University of Bradford on Friday, 17 June, 2005.

Around 30 pupils from Brackenhill Primary School will be taking part in various activities throughout the morning in the School of Engineering, Design and Technology, and will get the chance to build their own radio. (Invitation details below)

David Spinks, a technician from the School of Engineering, said: "The day will be very interesting for the children. They will be given an introduction to electrical engineering and be involved in an exciting project where they will be building their own radios."

The rest of the morning will include a tour of the engineering Labs, including the University's automotive workshop and the Computer Aided Design workshop.

After spending the morning in Engineering, the children will be invited to eat their pack-lunches and chill out on the amphitheatre and join in the festivities at the University's free Beach Party.

Notes to Editors:
