Catherine Calvert.Tributes paid to Catherine Calvert

Housekeeping Supervisor and member of the Cleaning team at Heaton Mount, Catherine Calvert, has died, aged 47.

Catherine, who had been diagnosed with cancer, began working at the University in 1990. She worked in different departments including Halls and Ancillary Services where she worked in the main Richmond building. Catherine moved to Heaton Mount over six years ago.

Her colleague and friend, Margaret Gibson, said: "Catherine worked at the University for more than ten years and she was a very popular, well-respected member of staff. She will be greatly missed by all her colleagues - past and present."

Catherine leaves her husband of 29 years, Terry, and 27-year-old daughter Rebecca.
