MBA and MA students from the
Bradford University School of Management are offering a free service to
organisations interested in researching international business or marketing
projects.
The students
with the OTSS Project Team
The School's Overseas Trade
Support for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (OTSS) allocates experienced
international Master students to regional firms during the summer as part
of its Small and Medium-Sized (SME) Mentoring Programme. OTSS is now inviting
companies to take part in this initiative.
Project Manager Gonzalo Shoobridge
said: "This initiative provides benefits for both students and organisations.
Organisations have the benefit of talented, committed individuals analysing,
researching, evaluating and recommending solutions to issues of concern
to managers whilst it enables students to apply and further develop the
skills acquired on their Master's programme in tackling practical issues."
The MBA students will work
on specific international business or marketing projects for three months
during the summer period (July until September), tackling a problem of
direct concern to the organisation.
The mentoring programme is
part of a larger project of research and training to support and promote
the export development of SMEs in the region.
The OTSS project is sponsored
by the European Social Fund under the objective 3 programme.
