Adrian Williams.New research co-ordinator and chair of research committee

Professor Adrian Williams has replaced Professor Brian Clark as Research Co-ordinator and Chair of the Research Committee at Bradford School of Pharmacy (BSP).

Brian has taken on his new role as Associate Dean for Research and Innovation for the School of Life Sciences.

Head of the School of Pharmacy, Professor Brenda Costall, said: "We are delighted that Adrian has agreed to take over this important role for BSP; there is no doubt that he will 'polish' our research strategy and ensure that we focus effort into our new research building, the Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation, and gain maximum benefit from our exciting new spin-out companies."

Adrian has been in the School of Pharmacy since 1987, initially as a PhD student before joining the staff in 1990.

He said: "These are really interesting times for the School of Pharmacy and for Life Sciences - the Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation is a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase some of the world-class research currently being undertaken."
