Harvard Professor accepts visiting Professorship

A Harvard Business School Professor has been appointed Visiting Professor of Corporate Communications at the University's School of Management.

Professor Greyser is one of the world's leading academic authorities on Corporate Communications and a world authority on Corporate Identity.

His long and distinguished career at Harvard Business School includes serving as Editorial Board Chairman of the Harvard Business Review.

He has published twelve books along with numerous articles and case studies including a number of projects with Professor of Corporate Identity at the School of Management, John Balmer.

Professor Balmer said: "I believe this to be one of the first appointments of its kind. It is a particular honour for the school to have a scholar and teacher of Professor Greyser's standing accept this visiting appointment. I have worked with him for the last eight years on a number of exciting projects and initiatives including presentations at several major conferences and seminars at Harvard and Oxford University."

Professor Greyser said: "It is a pleasure to accept the University's appointment as Visiting Professor at the School of Management.

"I look forward to continued productive collaboration with Professor Balmer on corporate identity, reputation and communication issues, especially important in a time of many mergers and spin-offs as well as crises such as Coca-Cola Belgium, Firestone and IOC.

"I also anticipate mutually useful professional relationships with faculty and students, some of whom I met at an alumni seminar in London hosted by the School's Dean, Professor Arthur Francis."
