Top honour for Professor Francis
Professor
Arthur Francis (pictured left), Dean of the School of Management,
has been invited to become a Companion of the Institute of Management
- the highest category of membership.
The institute aims to promote the art and science of management, to increase
the effectiveness of management by the exchange of information and ideas
and to represent people active in this field.
The board of Companions carefully maintains a high standard of entry and
the number of awards made is comparatively few.
It is from Companions that the institute draws valuable help on its efforts
to raise management performance.
