$2m donation

A former collaborator of Professor Rae Earnshaw, Dean of Informatics, has been honoured by a donation of $2 million to fund the David F Rogers Chair of Aeronautical Engineering at the US Naval Academy.

Professsor Rogers and Professor Earnshaw put together four books on computer graphics between 1987 and 1993 - published by Springer-Verlag in the USA.

Copies are on display in the EIMC Foyer.
