Rewarding Work

University plumbers Bryce Mitchell and Steve Dalby recently accepted a Work Experience Employer Award after pupils from Bradford showered praise on Estates & Facilities staff.

The award, presented by Bradford Education Business Partnership at the Hilton Hotel, in Bradford, was given after Beckfoot School, Bingley, nominated all the staff in the Department. Plumbers Bryce Mitchell and Steve Dalby recently supervised a student from the school.

Other contributors to the work experience scheme are: Secretary to Director of Estates & Facilities Debbie Alstead, Mechanical Technical Assistant Derek Mason, Foreman Plumber Ray Long, Electricians Henry Turasz, Peter Dykwer, Melvyn Shaw, Brian Shaw, and Allan Walton, Electrical Supervisor Geoff Bird, Electrical Assistant Gary Western, and Joiner Graham Dean.
