Top Research team celebrate publication success IEEE Communications, rated the highest ranked by the ISI Journal Citation 2000 Report for Impact Factor in Telecommunications, is distributed globally to all 60,000 members of the IEEE Communication Society. The first of the two papers formed part of a highly competitive focus issue on 'Evolving to Seamless All IP Wireless/Mobile Networks'. The paper presented a new concept for managing multimedia services over satellite and cellular networks. The second paper described the activities of SUITED, an EC-funded project, which is investigating mobility and the Internet. Ray said: "Mobile Internet access is a key research topic that is now being addressed by industry and academia throughout the world. Such high profile, relevant publications clearly demonstrate that Bradford is able to significantly contribute to this evolving technology."
