Marathon Fundraising for charity Left: Robert Picton after crossing the finishing line. Marketing Officer, Robert Picton, completed the gruelling course in 4hrs 19min while raising almost £1,200 for the charity, LOOK, which helps blind and partially-sighted children. He said: "It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but I loved every minute of it. The last four miles were agony but the crowd were incredible and wouldn't let you walk for too long. It will be something I will never forget." This was the fifteenth Marathon for experienced runner Deputy Director of Finance, Keith Waddingham, who thanked Finance and Planning for raising more than £150 for Cancer Research UK. Keith, who ran the course in 3hrs 18min, is now preparing for his next challenge - cycling coast to coast over the Pyrenees, in May.
