In the last month, the SAINT Team have continued to work on the projects that occupied most of January too. Work at the School of Health Studies is continuing, training courses have continued to run and development work for progression and award, new Business Object reports and mark-schemes has progressed. The collection of final assessment data is just about completed with only a few more module assessments to be updated.
Although this will come up in the SAINT Forum on the 26th February, advance notice is always useful; we are scheduled to be audited by HEFCE later in the year (18th-20th May 2010) and administrative staff may well be asked for further information by the auditors. More information will be issued in due course. The minutes of the SAINT Forum meetings are published on the SAINT website, along with new documents, helpful hints and details regarding training. Its not always easy to find the time but if you can spare a few minutes to check things out on the website, you may be able to find documents and helpful hints and tips.
The SAINT Team as part of ASSU is taking part in the ‘green-impact’ project. This is a national environmental scheme that this University has joined, with 22 other Universities taking part, looking at “greening” the campus even more than we do at present by asking departments/areas/teams to take part and give commitments to reduce waste (carbon, paper, heating, lighting, travel, etc). If you would like more info on this project please see the Ecoversity website/green impact project website at http://www.brad.ac.uk/admin/ecoversity/green-impact.php.What's this newsletter all about?
As you will no doubt be aware, this newsletter will be the last that is compiled by Andrea Ryan. Andrea is leaving Bradford at the end of February for a new post at Huddersfield University. Andrea came to the SAINT Team in June 2008 and quickly established herself as an important member of the team and her system knowledge and helpful nature made her very popular with SAINT users. The SAINT Team will miss her hard work, ability to keep calm under pressure and her quick sense of humour. I am sure you join me in wishing her the very best for the future.
She may even be able to get me Patrick Stewart’s autograph!

Did you know that when using screens with a 'Find' button (e.g. QCE and QED), entering a gold star after the student's surname will increase the speed of the search? An example is shown below. Give it a try, you might be surprised!
