If you wish to report a fault or make a request for support from the SAINT Team, then you can use either of the following methods:
Please ring ext. 3333. You can log the call with the Service Desk or be put through to the SAINT Team.
Help calls outside of these times can be logged by calling the ICT ServiceDesk.
Please email ICTServicedesk@bradford.ac.uk and the service desk team will log your help call.
Please do not email the SAINT Team directly or send emails to individual staff members for support queries; this is to ensure that help calls can be dealt with in a logical and orderly manner.
The SAINT Team meets each Tuesday, 10:30am-11:30am although this may occasionally vary.
Between these times you can still log a call by calling the ICT Service Desk.
The new link to the 'PMR Proposals' form under SAINT Links on this page has been added following a recent SAINT Forum meeting. If you wish to propose a change to the system (e.g. a change to an existing standard letter) then please use this form to submit your proposal giving as much detail as possible. This will allow the proposal to be investigated and then presented to the SAINT Forum for discussion / approval. If approved the work will be added to the SAINT Development Plan. As part of an IT security review, the question of access to SAINT was raised as an important issue.
Following this review it has been agreed that access to SAINT needs to be controlled more tightly. In future, only certain named managers will be allowed to authorise access to SAINT. The access request should take the form of an email to the ICTServiceDesk from the relevant manager. This email will generate a Helpcall that will be logged and then actioned by IT Services and the SAINT Team to set up the required account. SAINT access requests from managers who are not on the authorised list will be returned and not implemented. The process for installing SAINT upgrades is currently under review.
The results of this review will be published here in due course.
