Academic Development to Enhance Professional Teaching
ADEPT is a new and exciting project that aims to support the continuing professional development (CPD) of academic and support staff involved in the learning, teaching and assessment process by providing:
- A Skills Mapping and Reflection Tool (SMART) to encourage you to identify and reflect upon your teaching practice, current skills and development needs. This will help you to plan your development, record your progress and prepare for performance review.
- Online development resources covering a rich mix of topics. You will be able to access these resources via your Internet browser, wherever and whenever is convenient to you.
- Opportunities for sharing practice, collaborative working and active learning through a series of online special interest groups (SIGs). Tell others about your successes, seek inspiration from each other or explore issues together.
- Tools and support for performance review.
ADEPT uses PebblePAD, the University's e-portfolio system, for collaboration, communication and development planning. To find out more, visit our ADEPT and PebblePAD page.
