History at Bradford - Undergraduate Degrees
Our History provision concentrates on the making of modern Europe since the French Revolution, while the History and Politics course covers elements including political theory, institutions and governance, international studies and area studies. We also teach History and Law, and History with Philosophy.
The main focus of our teaching and research is modern European history from the eighteenth century to the late twentieth century. Our particular interests include the history of the leading European states, together with the key themes of European diplomacy, war and Europe's relations with the wider world, in particular South Asia. With our research publications consistently recognised as excellent in the independent UK research assessment exercises, we remain firmly committed to the aim of informing our teaching with our cutting-edge research.
