• Marie Macey, Alan Carling and Sheila Furness have been awarded a grant by the Equality and Human Rights Commission [EHRC] to carry out a review of the research into religion or belief in England, Scotland and Wales from an equalities perspective. The review will cover the six major world faiths—Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism—and non-religious belief systems such as Humanism. It will cover such areas as the criminal justice system, education, employment, health, housing, media representation, political participation and social welfare.
