Our Computer Modelling Research Centre opened in 2001

Computer Modelling Facilities include:

• ABAQUS Finite element analysis - solid phase deformation; thermal analysis (multi license)
  [inc. in-house constitutive equations]

• I-Deas Computer Aided Engineering suite (multi license)

• Moldflow suite (2 seats)

FEA of a shot glass fibre reinforced clutch pedel manufacture & performance using Moldflow & Abaqus

• Compuplast Flow 2000 (2 seats)

• In-house CFD for viscoelastic fluids [inc. in-house integral constitutive equations; pom-pom model]

• In-house CFD for gas-assisted injection moulding [pseudo-concentration technique; 3-d]
