The Centre offers commissioned training services in response to
requests from clients and to their specification. Courses can be
delivered both in the UK and overseas for groups ranging from 6 to
30 participants.
The Centre offers substantial experience in training needs
assessment, course design, training materials development,
choice of training methods, arrangements for study visits and
tours or visiting speakers, along with highly developed
expertise in course administration and course evaluation.
Another aspect of the work of the Centre in this area is the
development, management and evaluation of training capacity within
partner organisations.
Clients include aid agencies, overseas governments and
corporations, and non-government organisations both in the
UK and overseas.
We are currently running a range of courses under the British Council Chevening
Programme, funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. These include the Indian
Women in Leadership and Management Course and a number of the new Fellowship courses including those in Public Sector Reform and in Economic Governance and Reform.
These courses last 12 weeks and are based in Bradford.
