Good analysis of a conflict saves energy, time, money and lives. When our analysis
is accurate we are able to identify key issues and relationships that impact our
ability to manage the conflict. These tools and techniques are directly applicable
to any organisation. The danger that we must be aware of is 'analysis paralysis'
where all we do is go round in circles gaining more and more knowledge about a
conflict, but not doing anything about it. Strategy development is the equally
important follow-up to conflict analysis that deals with the key questions relating
to 'what', 'who', 'when', 'where', 'why' and 'how'.
Sectors that would benefit from such training:
Businesses
From mergers through to conflicts over future direction, we
will bring to your organisation tried and tested techniques delivered by widely
experienced and skilled facilitators. These highly transferable skills will enhance
your effectiveness and save you money.
NGOs
Develop a deeper level of understanding about what is happening
in your area of work. Increase your capacity and confidence to approach the conflicts
you encounter. Use these techniques to map your work through the year - great
for showing funders what you've done and why!!
